Construction Projects
The initial construction activity for any home or subdivision development includes zoning verification, eco-sensitive Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), site-clearing and preparation, pre-construction activities such as construction meetings, track demarcation, lot and or plot assignments, form survey, temporary electrical pole setting, foundation site-preparation, rough plumbing and electrical wiring, pouring of foundation, framing, sheet rocking, roofing, finish out, landscaping, post construction meeting and walk through.
The construction technical crew's job is to clear the site of any trees, rocks and debris, using backhoe and or bulldozer, levels the construction site completely, and digs trenches approximately 2 feet deep around the outside for the foundation to be built based on the form survey. This is followed by plumbing rough as shown below. There is a lot of work that goes into building a home and or developing a residential subdivision.
What is a home? A home is a habitable engineering sub or super structures that envelopes and protect its inhabitants; provide safety from danger from the elements; and espouses the home owners dream, confidence, and pride of home ownership. It involves architectural plans which is normally planned and properly built on a designated parcel of land using set of uniform building and zoning codes, based on approved form surveys (showing building and property lines) and architectural plans. It is sometimes surrounded by clearly zoned setbacks (front/rear and sides) comprising of a lawn and or flowerbeds fenced within established real property lines. A house has a framing composition with occasional pitched roof with overlain shingles draped around by gutters; and its sidewalls may be covered in brick, stucco, siding with fenestrated windows and doors. Inside there are rooms like the kitchen, the laundry, the living room, game rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and sometimes a home office.
